Michelle Harvey is a dedicated and caring professional in mental and behavioral health.
She worked in hospital administration for more than 20 years and determined that she wanted to work directly with patients. So, she went back to school in 1998.
She graduated from the Clinical Health Psychology Program at the University of North Texas in 2004, after completing her internship at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN in 2003 and 2004. She pursued Geriatrics Psychology in her fellowship at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2004 and 2005.
Dr. Harvey worked in Long-term Care following her fellowship. She had an opportunity to start her own practice and began seeing patients in 2008. Her vision is to bring healing and wholeness to mind, body, and spirit and she uses a holistic approach when working with her patients.
Dr. Harvey is often asked if she is a Christian counselor. She has not had formal training in a Christian counseling program and describes herself as a Christian who is a counselor.
Dr. Harvey treats patients from age 18 to the end of life.
She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Texas Psychological Association.
